Stolen bike

Somebody stole my bike at school!!!! They used cable cutters and cut my lock. I'm like constantly checking the local craigslist, and kijiji, aswell as ebay to see if it comes up.

Anybody else have this happen to them before?

Craigslist is like ebay, I think.  I would guess the same thing for the other one.

Re: Stolen bike

Dang, that stinks! Try telling the school cop. They may be able to look for it, with fingerprints/something. May not get a high priority, but its the least you can do.

Good Luck!

Re: Stolen bike

Yeah, don't you have cops at your school? There are cops everywhere at the front and inside.

Re: Stolen bike

School cops? I live in the suburbs, and go to a catholic school. I've never heard of school cops before.... actually, I heard of them on the news when I was in Toronto. They were at this school in a rundown neighborhood.

My friends bike also got stolen the same day, and he lives right across the street from the school. I think it's somebody going around in a van picking up bikes and selling them.

I'm gonna go the the huge used bike shop 'morrow to see if it's there, or get a decent bike for cheap.

Re: Stolen bike

Oh, it's a red Shwinn bike. About 24 in. tire. I could identify it with these scratches my bike lock made on it, and chipped a coat or two of paint.

I don't know about canada, but there is usually a police man or two at any Middle/High school. They may not be the best, but there are usually one or two. Maybe its just my state... Don't know.

Re: Stolen bike

In Texas we have cops hanging around. After school until all the kids are gone I think.
We don't have bad kids or anything. It doesn't seem like it.
