I have never felt the urge to play it.
It just looks so boring...

I agree, it looks boring, but it's actually really fun, especially on the Wii. I admit it does get a little boring if you've played it so much that you can beat the staff ghosts on every course though. *Cough*Me*Cough*

Hey, there's always online!
My favourite track is the 3DS remake of the SNES Rainbow Road. If you get the timing right, you will be defiantly 1st!

I can't do online though. You need to buy some fancy thingy for that, don't you?

You just need either wireless (router) or connected Internet. You have an XBOX don't you?

Has anyone played Mario Kart Double Dash? I used to have it but the disc was scratched.

Thinking about picking it up and GameCube controllers and a memory card for it. Is it worth it?

I've got Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart DS, and the Ambassador-program Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Mario Kart 7 is defintely the best--I love the Rainbow Road and Bowser Castle, as well as so many other courses!

That is the best game in the series. I have so much fun just sruising through the courses on this game.

I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but here goes my list:
Mariokart Double Dash: best game in the series, as a far as I've played. fun powerups, great handing, just overall fun to play. Awsome battles, All-Cup tour, unlockables with a victory in any cup.
Mariokart Wii: The second best, missing out on 1st, but barely. When I play this game, I actualy feel like I'm driving a kart. Once again, incredibly fun.
Mariokart DS: Third in the series. The graphics aren't as good as some of the other games, which is understandable, but the retro courses and a few of the normal courses are just flat and boring.
Mariokart 7: THE BANE OF THE SERIES. This game is comlletely overrated, and while the races are really fun, the new areas are over-abused. My biggest problem with this game is that it defies its own logic in the stats of your kart, most notably speed. I was playing 150cc as Bowser in the fastest kart setup possible, and was getting outrun by toad in the normal setup. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?!? The AI is also incredibly unbearable. They are so stupid that they hold Red Shells behind them for 10 seconds before throwing them for no reason. You also have the worst luck with items imaginable. I am more afraid of Green Shells than I am of Red Shells, and at 150cc you can easily get stoned (my term for getting hit repeatedly with powerful items, causing you to drop from 1st to 6th extremely quickly while being brought to a virtual standstill) on the last lap very easily. Only the multiplayer is really worth is, where you can race the fun courses without the game cheating you.
As you might be able to tell, I play Mariokart for unexplainable, yet incredible fun.
