Scratch

try shift clicking the R and hitting "save image for end-user" i had a problem like that and that fixed it, or you could try re-installing scratch, but the first would be easier so i would try that first

schusteralex2 means to open up Scratch and Shift-Click the R letter in the logo. 

However, if modifying the .image file or re-installing doesn't help, then it's likely the projects was damaged in some way (for example, ending the Scratch program before the project is completely saved can cause a project to be corrupted) to the point where it's not recoverable. 

If you want, you can try uploading the project through a file sharing site (like MediaFire, for example) and seeing if anyone else is able to recover it.

No u hold shift, and click, and mouse over the R all at the same time.

Then click save image for end user.

I am having a similar problem. I am currently working on an animation, I am nearly done after working on it for 4 months. I try to open it and it says KEY NOT FOUND. FILE MAY BE BROKEN OR DAMAGED. How can I fix this? I have been trying different things to get it back for almost 2 weeks. Can anyone help me?

When I do it. it brings up red commands and stuff like that! Should It do that? If so, what do I do then?
