They seriously didn't move the old topic?!
Well, the original topic wasn't requested to be moved by the topic owner.
It can always be merged with this topic in the future if there is a request to move the original thread.

It's hard to get the feet in a comfortable position. People usually draw the feet opposite each other, so the shins are together and the toes are apart.
But yeah, since most anime characters have no shoes, the bare feet are difficult to draw.
Hands - same thing.
But the eyes are what set anime from American. They're supposed to be big and glittery and cute, right?

But usually, the manga will have more than the anime (not like the last episide of DBZ -_-).
Quick, how many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Obviously two. One to screw it in, and one to scream uncontrollably from constipation.

Well, if I'm interpreting your answer correctly, then...
They wear... sandals, right? But their feet are still showing?
Anyways...
@ACA - Oh wait - ?¿?

I'm not even sure what you just answered, but if you're trying to disprove me, You are a hypocrite (lol, jk) I underlined a specific word that is sure to nullify your previous response.
EDIT: Please allow me to make it more clear.

I think they DO wear sandals. Only in Naruto, maybe, though...

With the eyes, that's mostly in manga/anime targeted at younger girls (Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket, etc.). Lots of manga has different art styles, but they're all in a similar style. Plus, Teen Titans and Totally Spies! both have the sort of anime-ish style but Teen Titans is American and Totally Spies! is French.
Plus, generally you only really see people doing that thing with their feet in ballet, so you hardly ever see artists draw them like that. Who stands like that? And anime characters have shoes. Where did you get that idea?

Ummm... in Japan they don't wear shoes in their houses, but also they don't wear it outside - in anime.
Oh, and try standing with your feet opposite each other. Not. Comfortable.
