Audacious Remixes in Audacity

I'm sure some of you know that I do audio remixing in Audacity. If you want, I can make you a (somewhat) good remix, provided you give me the song, and that it's a WAV or MP3 file.

We can't legally give you the song unless it's CC and not ND.

No, give me the song through a Scratch project. Provided I don't already have it.

That's still illegal.

Re: Audacious Remixes in Audacity

It could be a public domain song, but those are mostly classical/very old/boring ambiance music or nature sounds.

Re: Audacious Remixes in Audacity

Why don't you give us a list of songs you've bought, and we can ask you to remix songs from that list?

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

Yeah, that would be a better idea. Although it would still be illegal for him/her to give the remixes to us xD

What if he uploaded them in projects? Then they're protected by fair use...

It's okay to use music in Scratch projects, but not if the only reason you're using it is to distribute it  hmm

If it was inside an MP3 player project..?

It's illegal to extract an audio file from a Scratch project. And I don't think there's any loopholes or anything, either  hmm

You don't have to EXTRACT the music to listen to it. You CAN just have the project open, you know.

But what good is it if every time you want to listen to it, you have to open up Scratch, find the project, etc.. Also, you wouldn't be able to put it on your mp3 player or anything, either.
