Ahh, Risk. The classic game of world domination. Discuss Risk, strategies, and more here.
I usually play on the reinvented version of the game (the new one) that has objectives and rule balances. I usually attempt to take Europe first, and then expand to Africa and South America.

I love that game's alternative. <3
I can't purchase the offical version because I have no money.

I've played one full game. And now I'm in the middle of another.
Its awesome.

The key for my game of risk- focus on reinforcing the borders. Concentrate all units into the few key countries on the front. United we stand, divided we fall.

I like to play Risk, but apparently it's too long of a game to play
The late 1990's computer game of Risk (by Hasbro) is one of my favorite video games because of the Ultimate Risk version where you can choose strategies, create alliances, and there are Prisoners of War to trade when you capture them for more soldiers.
EDIT: But in the classic version, I try to hold Australia and South America.

Me to. Is it free?
It's a board game, silly.
My friend has one of the early boards, uneven wooden pieces and all. We play whenever we have a bunch of friends together and it's a lot of fun, even though I always lose horribly.
