Title is self-explanatory.


In case you didn't get it, those announcement blocks on the top of the forums appear whenever something major goes on. On the mainsite, they mesh perfectly with the surrounding scenery. However, on the forums, it's blocky, enormous, and just plain disorientating. I say you only see them once. As I'm typing this, "due to recent changes to the forums, you may need to hit refresh or clear your browser's cache" is glaring over the page.


I say we do it like Google does: when you're logged in, the message only appears once. When a new message appears, that is only shown once to the user.


We can keep these on the mainsite, though.
