What's it about?
I see people I don't even know reading it at school
It's in the future when North America is all united into one country called Panem with 12 districts and the capitol. Every year, they pick two "tributes" from each district, a boy and a girl, to compete in the Hunger Games. They have to fight to the death, and the last person standing wins and gets a wonderful house in the Victor's Village in the Capitol.

Don't worry, the werewolf things aren't that important anyway
And yes the District 13 thing is a huge part of the trilogy
But I'm not giving anymore details

I downloaded The Hunger Games onto my Kindle and just finished reading the first chapter. At first I thought that Katniss was a boy but I got to the part where they're drawing the names and that's when I discovered that Katniss was a girl instead.

Hmmm....
What's wrong in this post.
Ah yes, the victors don't live in the capitol. They live in their District in their districts Victor's Village. Not in the capitol.

I read them all in the Summer of '11 and they are amazing.
SPOILER ALERT: READ ONLY IF YOU HAVE READ EVERYTHING
My favourite characters are probably Rue (:C) and Joanna.
It was so sad in MockingJay in the big capitol battle when Prim burned to death and Finnick died.
I can't wait for the movie which comes out in under 2 months!
I also hate the time when whatshisname gets attacked by the mutts at the end of Book 1.

Ah! I took a spoiler alert to the knee!
I've only read the first one so far (and really enjoyed it)...I've been to all my local book stores and the second one is just not to be found. I might have to buy the electronic version

If you ask me, the first one was awesome. The second one was okay. The third one was downright terrible. I just didn't like how it ended, the book had this sense of "something big is going to happen soon and then suddenly you realize "Oh! the book's over "

In werdna's defense, there was a spoiler alert warning.
And that's not actually the whole story, just a small part of it. There are much more important parts that could give away the whole story.

Yeah, I know, but it's hard to JUST read the spoiler alert bit, intentionally or unintentionally. And Prim's one of my favourite characters ;_;

Yeah I know, it really is hard just to read the spoiler alert part
But it could have been worse
A lot worse
At least he didn't tell you how or why that happened
That would have given a lot away
