Question about the new "misc. "
Let's say I want to ask scratchers something, like a poll of what is your favorite food. Where would I put that? Or would I have to put it in a project?

Well, polls would better be done in projects - but you're more than free to ask if people like your favourite food. 
Actually, I'm not entirely sure... let me get the ST in here.
My reasoning is this: In general, polls seem more like project material; on the other hand, a discussion of one's favourite foods sounds like it would go into "Reading and Playing," does it not?

I guess it could actually go under "What you're watching" because it's what you're eating 
But yes, double check.
