Are there any cool programs that I should get?
So far, from reccomendations from Scratch, I have downloaded Gimp, Stencyl and Audacity.
Are there any other progams that I should get?
I don't think this topic will fit in either of the new categories so help me quickly!

This will probably fit in RAP. I mean, RAP just sounds like a general technology-and-the-arts forum.
No, it fits in MaC, because it involves programing outside of Scratch.
If not, this goes in Advanced Topics. I hope.

Other programs I have include Chromium, Processing, Palringo, gedit, Burrrn, and Last.fm, but those have lesser degrees of usefulness.

If Chrome is for hipsters, then Chromium is for super hipster nerds. It's the development builds of Chrome that have tons of new features but can crash often.

It is really cool. Bit memory intensive though if you're doing a lot of fills.

Uh... format factory? In my opinion, it's the most handy and easy to use program I've got, but it's also the best file converter around. It's completely free, and can convert images, audio, video, video to audio, rip CDs, burn CDs, can join videos, can join audio, can rip DVDs and maybe some more features as well. You can download it from here

Yeah, Dropbox is really useful. FileZilla is only useful if you are doing FTP transfers though, such as in managing a website (like I do [www.typeint.com).
