As someone has said before, 'The admins are now evil nazis'.
I'm actually going to have to disagree with that though
They think that they are doing their best to keep their forums less spammy.
And they think that by eliminating these other types of topics, will work.
They aren't trying to make you mad on purpose. Lightnin' isn't sitting in his house, like, "AHA, IM GOING TO MAKE SCRATCHERS FEEL HORRIBLE TODAY. AHAHAHA."
They are trying to make it better. And they have the freedom to do what they want with the forums. It is theirs, in the first place.
And with the whole LGBT issue: they didn't think that younger kids needed to be seeing this stuff being discussed. Remember, there kids younger than you on Scratch. And this website isn't just for teenagers.
Okay, I'm done.

People who are really only looking for the random sharing place can of course decide to move on to other websites or forums that are made for this kind of discussions.
Just a few select quotes.
Makes us miscers seem like nice people, doesn't it?

And I agree PF. Although if they don't want to lose members...
It's a give and take.

But maybe those users don't need to be here if there isn't anything here that they like.
If they don't like scratch, why be here then?

This. I can't make up my mind whether I support this or not. On the one hand, it's a fresh start that will probably bring everybody closer, but on the other hand, there's the point that you just made...

Minecraft servers aren't being talked on.
The MLP thread is normally hopping, nothing there.
And everything else is goodbye misc.

There was a bunch of very interesting stuff going on in Misc too. What we're trying to do is keep the interesting part, and try to move the forums' focus towards it.

I'm just saying I've seen tons of Scratch Team members saying many things about misc, and miscers in negative aspects
Although I do get what you're trying to do, and I think it's a good idea in theory. I just don't know if it'll pay off.

I really hope this gets people to actually start using the program more.

Yeah, lots of people on here never even use the program at all, which is quite odd, in my honest opinion.
