Scratch

Sound good!

I think the forums where due for revision, and they seem like very constructive  changes. 

This will definitely be helpful for new and younger scratchers, so they understand where to go for certain things, and not post it in the wrong place.    The misc. will also be more organized.

Of course! Collaboration is totally staying. The first post just describes the basic changes. If a forum isn't mentioned, that means it's staying pretty much the same.

Hi gbear - the first post has a description for each of the new forums. Forums that aren't mentioned in it will simply carry over to the new structure. They may get put into a new category, but they'll basically be the same.

I suppose I'll wait another day to see what the whole new layout will look like. Unless you want to give us a preview.    (Just like a tree of how it will be set up.)

I believe that's it. Things related to creating things in Scratch have been pushed towards the top of the forum so they get more recognition.

Now that I know what it will be like, I can say I whole-heartedly agree with the changes.

Cool! I like how the more popular forums are near the top and how the languages have been condensed. 

The languages haven't been condensed; cheddar just didn't type them all out.    (Possibly because some aren't on her keyboard, such as עברית.)

Hey, I'll send this idea on to the rest of the ScratchBB design team. We're working on a new forum system to possibly be used on Scratch, and elsewhere.

Oh, no they're not condensed, I just didn't feel like typing the whole list of supported languages out!     That part is pretty much remaining the same as it has always looked.
