I heard Spongebob saying [A word that was too inappropriate for Scratch] in one episode.
It was censored, but I found a video of it slowed down and uncensored (Not giving link).

Spongebob, I agree, has gotten a little more - mature - then the last episodes, but let's not forget the hidden gems beneath all the garbage. Take 'Best Day Ever', it had a great plot, good humour and in my opinion, it was great as the time it was made, the animation was smooth. So we shouldn't completely block Spongebob out. The writers might make another hidden gem!
No, it hasn't gotten more mature, it's gotten more violent, driven by shock value and low brow humor alone. You want mature, watch the original 3 seasons. The amount of subtle adult jokes there is amazing.

There was an episode where Patrick was saying "s---m", but I think he meant the whale.

So Patrick is saying to eat a Sperm Whale? I don't think so...
@GLaDOS2: What episode was it in?

It's still better than other shows on Nick
This is why I now almost exclusively watch recorded shows from TeenNick's 90s Are All That

I know that. I thought you were talking about another episode, cuz that was never censored. If you watch that episode on Nickelodeon right now, you can still make it out.

Remember the episode where Sandy prepares for hibernation?
Nuff' said.Yes. Is that the one where Spongebob ends up half-destroyed because of an accident?
Remember the one where fleas invade Sandy's house? THAT ONE IS GROSS.
Do not remind me of that dreadful episode. I think the episode I'm thinking of is where Sandy prepares for hibernation and Spongebob joins Sandy, but finds out the extreme activities like finding a piece of hay in a needle stack and biking in a construction site. With terrible consequences.

+1
And just to name a few...
"Patrick, your genius is showing"
"Where?!" *covers crotch*
"Spongebob doesn't have any hair. Or...... does he?"
*Picks up soap* "And look at these dabloons, Gary. Don't drop them"
And of coarse, "Hey Patrick, how the *whale/dolphin screeches* are ya?
"Pretty *whale/dolphin screeches* good, Spongebob!"

Anybody who's seen both the old Spongebob episodes and the newer Spongebob episodes knows what I'm talking about. First, I'll talk about the older episodes. Spongebob was one of the best, if not the best, shows on Nickelodeon. The characters were completely original, the humor was great, and it became an instant classic. Just about everybody who's seen just a few episodes can memorize the whole Bikini Bottom layout (Spongebob's, Patrick's and Squidward's houses, the Krusty Krab, the Chum Bucket, ect.) As I sais before, it was a great show.
Now lets talk about Spongebob now. The humor has become stale, the plots are predictable and often unnecessary, and overall, the show itself has declined in every way. Every other episode will involve somebody getting their skin ripped off (not to say this never happened in the older episodes, but never this much). But the most gruesome episodes are the entire season 6. Its just disgusting. First there's the gross splinter episode, then you see more disassembling of body parts and showings of organs than probably all the other seasons combined. And I'm sure a lot of you will remember a certain scene involving a couch. I'm literally shuddering right now, just thinking of the godawful scene. I admit I do watch way more gorey things than I'm supposed to, but I can't even watch this scene without looking away or tucking in my toes. ugh.
In conclusion, Spongebob is way past it's time for cancellation. It had a good run up to, I'd say late 2009, but its really just time to stop. But there's a problem.
Nickelodeon is stuck in a position where If it does cancel Spongebob, Its practically nothing. It has no other shows to fall back on, and will just die. And if it doesn't cancel Spongebob, It will just just run it's way straight to the ground. The only way I could see it working is if Nickelodeon makes another show as good as Spongebob. But we all know thats never going to happen. I'm not saying the new episodes are bad. They're actually pretty good compared to the other shows ( So many unneeded CGI shows ). Its just time to pull the plug.
Who agrees with me?
I support.
