I too love Mathematics, and would recommend that everyone who does not enjoy their math class bears at least until after Calculus.
Math as taught, is generally a very boring subject, but once you get into high level math (or at the very least, proof based), it becomes a lot more interesting.

Definitely. I love proofs. I have always loved math, but proofs struck me as much more fun and interactive.

I've always hated it, but I then I moved to a school where all of the other teachers were insane. That made me like math. Now I take Geometry which is really fun.
To Elementary / Middle School Students:
Don't worry. It gets better. I went from hating it to loving it.
