Hai, I'd like to have a site approved. It's a forums.
We don't have many visitors yet, so the mod-action hasn't really taken place.
It will be well moderated and I'm not gonna let just anyone be a mod or admin.
I'll report the link or whatever.

After some discussion this morning, we've decided that having forum posts not visible to the non-logged in public makes it hard to insure that content guidelines are being followed, so we've added an additional requirement that posts must be visible. I hope that doesn't cause you too much difficulty?
Also, there was a questionable GIF image in the signature of a user named "___" or similar. Something you might want to look in to.No problem. I'll deal with that. The reason I added that was to prevent spam, actually.
I thought that was actually a good idea to have so that you have to make an account to view it.
But yeah, that gif was...eh...disturbing.
Don't worry, it's all handled :3

Looks good...except for the Chat feature. If you read the first post with the requirements, you'll see that we still don't allow sites with Chat, because of the difficulty of moderating them.

I have removed it now.
I was fine with taking it off, cause nobody viewed it anyways.

So, do I ask to have my website approved here? If so, it's at [removed by myself].
@moderators: If there's something I did wrong, feel free to delete this post anytime.
(Wow, I feel like such a newbie, even though I've been on Scratch for more than 8 months and have a featured project.)
Edit: Oh, I see how this works. I'll report my post with the link now...

Looks very entertaining! I'll add it to the list. Do make sure that you review the security recommendations document, if you haven't already.

I know it hasn't been up for 3 months, but I'll get some trusted mods. Can [link removed by moderator] be approved?

Please don't include the link to your site in the post however.
Sorry about all the hassle - but your site has to be 3 months old before it can be approved - my apologies.

ok
so how does one get their website approved?
and if so
I would like to add mine to that list
I would need to make the changes (like removing the chat)
but thats easy enough to do
it's been around for a long while as well

Make a post here (without the link) and then report it with the link so the Scratch Team can look it over.

Well, the forums looked good. The chat is a problem, as you've noted. Why don't you send me another report when the chat is gone and I'll take another look? As for the facebook and twitter links you asked about...we don't have a problem with twitter, as it's pretty anonymous. But facebook reveals way too much information for comfort, in our opinion so we really don't like to see links to it.

Ok, sounds like I'll have to get around to messing around with the code again. Thanks for the twitter/facebook thing.

It's in the list - now sorted alphabetically (ignoring www prefixes)!

With the publicly visible posts thing,is it okay if our forum has a mod forum to discuss things like banning and moderation?
Oh, and a dustbin where we store posts users don't want anymore for future reference for the mods.

Yep! I'll add it to the list.

My site, Scratch Retro has a Chatroom, but that is only because the forum isn't working. Can you make an exception? It's not really my fault, I don't know what is wrong.
