We thought that some people might be interested in our plans for celebrating Scratch Day (http://day.scratch.mit.edu) on May 16 at MIT's Media Lab.
Like others in more than 20 different countries, we will be organizing a Scratch Day gathering - where people of all ages and experiences with Scratch will be able to participate in hands-on workshops, exhibit favorite Scratch projects, and share ideas with members of the MIT Scratch Team.

When: May 16, 2009, 1:00pm to 5:30pm

According to Google Earth, I'm aproximately 8,382.70 kilometers (about 5.208.77 miles) away from MIT.
Oh well, I guess that's because I live on Chile. I wonder if we'll be able the celebrate Scratch Day on my school; I think they have programming classes as a after-school activity. Maybe not this year because they're finishing the rebuilding process, and some things are unstable. I hope next year they do
