Scratch

1. First sentence doesn't make any sense but I guess I agree.
2. No. That would be really bad.
3. No need for anything near a GB. I've never exceeded the project memory limit, and I've made some pretty huge projects.
4. Not sure about the inappropriate page.
5. That would be nice.
6. What if they were to attach a virus or inappropriate image.

1. Everyone is allowed to download, and everyone is allowed to remix because of the Creative Commons and DMCA or DCMA or something like that. Or else you would not be allowed to use copyright material, etc.

2. However, people could put that in a forever block and spam your computer, or it could lead to an inappropriate site, etc.

3. The thing is, if everyone uploaded large projects, the scratch server would be too laggy. So even if your large project got uploaded, no one would be playing it. Also, the java player cannot handle it so no one would be able to play it either.

4. NO! The scratch website is meant for all people. a little kid might accidentally wander onto the other website...

5. They used to change the scratch logo, but something went wrong once and it stuck there for several days. if a logo was broken, think of what could go wrong with the whole website's design...

All project are downloadable for everyone already, but locking downloads (even if it's only partial) is not going to happen - Scratch is an open remix community so everyone should be able to remix anyone's projects and use the material (scripts, images, sounds) found in them.

Some people might upload a lot of projects and then reach the 1GB limit quickly, preventing them from uploading anymore.

Keep in mind the original 10 MB limit was largely put in place because of the limitations of the Java players; it's likely that the Scratch Team will increase the upload limit since Flash player is going to be Flash-based instead of Java-based. What this new limit will be, I have no idea. 

4. On the scratch website, you sholud make a teen hangout page for really old kids on scratch, so they can swear on the teen page and have teen fun. That would be awesome! The appropiate page and inappropiate page!

Scratch is open for anyone of all ages, it doesn't make sense to suddenly section off part of a website where young ones will be shut out.

And even then, such a section will still need moderation (perhaps even more moderation than right now since that section will be under bigger scrutiny because of COPPA laws); such a sectioned-off area for an older audience would likely require a group of adults with experience as counselors, advisors, or teachers willing to volunteer their time to monitor such a forum frequently - it seems like a waste to spend much time moderating heavy issues (let alone non-Scratch issues) when most of it should be focused more on Scratch.

5. On Christmas, Halloween, every holiday, theres no site design for the holidays. Make Christmas website designs, lots of Holiday designs for the website. Then its more awesomer.

The logo used to be updated for holidays and special occasions, but a cache issue caused the logo changing to be suspended for a while.

Hopefully the issue will be fixed with the coming of Scratch 2.0.

More freedom will be added but not as much as 1 GB (it costs to add them on the server)

6. In scratch (the program), you should make something were you can download stuff. For example, make a feature on the scratch program were you can import files, and make them downloadable. Its like, if you make a scratched game, if you win it, you can then download a file like a downloadable version if you want. Make a block were you can add files and the block should be like this: |SHOW FILE: <import...>| and, |HIDE FILE: <import...>| and, |When file <import...> clicked, download to desktop| those blocks. That would rock!! I don't understand you.

Pretty good and bad ideas.
