NO! I don't personally believe that Misc is a dump, but if it is, then if it gets deleted, then all the other helpful places will turn into dumps without a place to put dump-stuff.

Okay, first of all, someone will definitely mess up seriously with more guidelines. That's a bad idea. If it has to be related to Scratch, then when something's not related to Scratch, it'll just go wherever, not here. The whole reason the Misc forums were made was so that people could post stuff here without cluttering up the other sections with unnecessary Scratch-unrelated stuff. Just wait for a little after (I'd give it 3 weeks, to be safe) the official release of Scratch 2.0 and then complain about it. People are just getting bored, so they make something. Something like unnecessary-ness. And uselessness. And other stuff-ness.

all seriousness, the scratch team isn't going to listen to this at all. They have made it final that it is here to stay, regardless. I still think it should be shunned away like TBG Forums, but no one will listen. When I click 'show new posts since last visit' I want to see scratch. I don't want to see 'What did you get for christmas' or 'OMGOMGOMG MINECRAFT ZOMG LOL'
