Me too
It's a kids websiteI think it's understandable. A lot of kids could get really upset after working days on a project there proud off only to have it be censored.
Sopa and pipa could really damage this site, and potentially a young programmer's future.
I think you missed the point

I don't hate you, but I hope you knew that, but still, it's important for the internet to have the freedom it does.

Not really, if Scratchers think that SOPA or PIPA might censor projects or even shut down Scratch, then why wouldn't they protest it on here? As well as on other sites.

There is no reason not to.
If it is going to happen, the kids might as well know!
They need to realize they should stand up for what they believe in and protect the inalienable rights that are being attacked.

Guys, we won already! The congress has dropped the bill. It was the largest online protest ever!

The government doesn't know what they're saying. I'm glad they postponed it, but it won't last for long. If anyone has been to the Minecraft Website during the protest it says:
PIPA SOPA how about NOPA
-Mojang
I laughed. I would like to screenshot that and email it to the legislature branch. They would be mad. And maybe troll the government a bit. LOL

You know how much I'd love to troll the government, and call Obama fat?
A whole lot.

They don't jump very high.
Also, being fat just shows your lack of care for your health. :L

It is quite pathetic IMO that the SOPA and PIPA supporters say they want to boost creativity. If they really wanted creativity, they would let people be inspired by something and then create something inspired by it. Example: Pacman is created --> Someone creates a 3D frirst person Pacman --> then, either A: they get sued for everything they own or B: Namco uses this as inspiration for their next game, and is really epic. Also, they say that it is hurting companies' profits, I have a response which I believe was said by Notch. "You can steal a car, but you can't steal a game." It costs them NOTHING for them to create the game and put it online. That's because it is NOTHING. It is a few electrons going through an extremely thin strand of either copper or glass.

You can technically steal a game if you don't get it from an online source.
However, many artists do support people pirating their stuff to see if they like it, and paying if they do. (Usher and Notch have said something like this, I think. Usher may have been someone else xD)
