Heroscape is a strategy board game that's a cross between Risk and DnD. See here for more info.
My school has a Heroscape club, and I've been trying to get a hold of some, but as it's discontinued, it tends to be about $60 USD for a master set. Luckily, someone at my school is willing to sell me Rise of the Valkyrie.
At school the guy who brings them in (he has enough for a ton of armies and ~7 boards) I chose a premade army consisting of a few squads of Protectors of Ullar, Atlaga, and Saylind. They're decent, and really good on high terrain.
Discuss Heroscape here.

I have quite a few, and I used to enjoy them.
Yeah. It's really fun (although I got creamed a few times )
I hate how they got cancelled though.

Would you guys recommend buying Rise of the Valkyrie or Swarm of the Marro for ~$60 or get the Battle for the Underdark for $45?
