That doesn't make sense, but from the sense I gathered.
No.

Well, some people make grammar remarks, and can be a little rude about it.

You'll actually see that texting language (texting isn't a word ) is pretty common, but I think Scratchers are among the nicest groups. Some people want correct grammar, others talk leik dis, but if you don't take offense at people correcting your grammar or using incorrect grammar you'll find the community to be very accepting and helpful.

It's usually O.K--I mean, a lot of people do it. I personally (no offense chatspeak peoplez ) think that using chatspeak or text speak, whatever you want to call it, makes you sound like a 2-year-old. especally if u tak lik dis. But whatever, it's usually fine XD

This text editor doesn't think it is, though I realize that it may have been a relatively recent addition to English, so maybe it just hasn't been added yet.

"Texting means texting people..."
That's like a dictionary saying
"Eat means eat."

It depends on whether you can be understood or not.
^This is pretty much the main point.
One of the Scratch Team members, Paddle2See, said it best:
Well, people really shouldn't be getting all up in each other's faces about the way they type. As long as the message is clear - that's really what matters. It takes all kinds to make a world...and some of them use text-talk abbreviations
Just a note: Keep in mind that not all users on the website are text-talk savvy and find things like text talk and l33t speak almost like a foreign language; whatever preference you type just make sure it can be clearly and easily understood by everyone.

It can be annoying but since we're all friendly and all, we won't get angry or anything
But it can be a bit n00bish if you know what I mean

I dont like it when peeps do that becuase you cant understand them. then they get all ticked off at you becuase yo apparently "affended them" but anyways, yes and no. you see it depends on who it is. some people will be mean and some not. Its like every other internet place where you can socialize. hope you thought that was helpful!!!
