(I don't know if this has had it's own topic before)
Okay, so you may have seen the message "Sorry, you have posted a very similar message recently" if you post the same comment on a project. This may not be such a problem for some users, but for the more well known people on here, that message can get very annoying.
I can see that the system we currently have is designed to stop spam and to stop people trolling people's projects etc. etc, but because scratch is such a friendly website I don't think removing it (or adding more "tries") would cause a problem (providing that you have to be a "Scratcher" and not a "New Scratcher" to get this privilege).
READ: So I suggest that comments can be posted 3 times before it displays the message.
After all, you can post a link a few times before it displays that message. Why can't it be the same for comments ?
So, if you support this then I will add your name:

ACTA doesn't affect people in the UK

Well, most Scratchers don't go on the forums, so it's kind of unfair to them if you have to have Scratcher Status.

It was put in place to prevent spamming. I know, it's so annoying because it sometimes pops up when you are sometimes trying to say Thanks if you have a lot of nice comments and all, but I doubt that this will happen because then people could just post a comment every 2 seconds and spam.

I think it should just be removed for you own projects.

No, that's SOPA, not ACTA.

I made a post about this a while ago. I think they should remove it when you're posting on your own projects, but not when you are posting on others.

It was put on to prevent spam. Recently someone suggested that this rule wouldn't apply for saying "thanks", and scratch team is putting it under consideration.
I personally think it shouldn't apply for your own project at all, after all, can you spam yourself?

That person was me.

It's not really a problem for me, at least not enough of a problem for it to be removed.
Besides I think people should have more variety with their comments.

I was going to say yes, but it is meant to stop spam and we don't want any spam attacks.
I'm not wanting to remove it, I just want to change it. I made it clearer now in my first comment.

You may not spam like "sdfjvbfsdkbfskjfbsjkf" and the like, but there could be SEO spammers who would take advantage of this..

Raising the limit by just 2 could be better. Not that I run into it so often.
