Flipping sprites

I am sure someone else has made this suggestion, but just in case.  I would like the ability within Scratch to "flip" or mirror a sprite.  Currently there is a rotate but no "flip". (I think)

Re: Flipping sprites

You can do that already. In the paint editor, next to all the options such as the fill tool, and the square tool, the two buttons on the right (I think) will flip the selected area either horizontally or vertically, depending on which one you click. I'll take a picture of it as soon as I get on my laptop, if you'd like, as I realise this probably isn't that clear.

Re: Flipping sprites

I think the user means the entire sprite, such as in the middle of a script.

This is possible, but then you'd have to get rid of rotation. Next to the sprite info at the top, there's an two-sided arrow sort like: < - >. click it.

then set the rotation to -90 and it'll be left, 90 and it'll face right.
