I'm writing a story about this virtual reality shooter-like action game that everyone plays to escape thehorrors of the world around them (you know, pollution, the impending nuclear war, things like that), and this group of hackers (or some sort of virus or bug, I can't decide) makes it where people can't leave and if they die in-game they just die, then start klling all of them taking advantage of the game's huge arsenal of readily-available weapons, and some people team up and try to stop them.
A certain movie comes to mind. A certain 1980s movie. I can't remember the name. Gah!
I know
"If you die in the game you die for real"
wait was it Gamer? might have been that

No, a lot older. Gee, this is going to bug me for a really long time.
EDIT: Best to not post again and take up topic space, let's just roll with "it was what that movie was based on."

It kind of reminds me of WarGames, but not exactly.

The both have games of impending doom. But aside from that they are miles apart!

Here's an interesting cross-over between the Hulk and Transformers:
Someone finds a piece of the allspark and uses to to ruin Hulk's life, so whenever he approaches anything, it is MACHINOR, awakened from his slumber specifically to destroy him. He ends up having a nervous breakdown from the paranoia and stress. The end.

What do you do when you have writer's block?
I chewed a lot of gum which for some reason gives me ideas but it didn't this time
Then I watched 2 discs of Doctor Who, but that just made me tired
I almost had a couple ideas, then the clock bonged and it really annoyed me for some reason
I write better when my room is clean but ehh
Any ideas or is it my fault that I'm just so particular about this

If you're referring to the Matrix, never seen it......is that what happens? 'Cause that's my favorite idea I have

Spend a while writing down everything that comes to your mind on a piece of paper, that usually gives me ideas for whatever reason

I have a bit of story:
Witch of Greenmore Lane wrote:
“The walls are practically dripping with ectomatter-it’s like ghost-proof slime.” He then sat down on a chair near a row of crystal balls. How could I not have guessed? Of course Merlin is prophetic! That makes the most sense in the world! Nearly as Merlin have control over the flower faries-which kind of makes him the Sugar Plum Fairy! “I suppose this is the time of Britain’s greatest need.”
How's that? It's not all I've written but it's one of the funniest paragraphs.
