Umm, dasbloekendeschaf, wouldn't that be 3.0?

No. Not needing.

What should we do next?
I thought, before implementing other ships and houses, we first have to enlarge the galaxy.
Agree? Ideas? Thoughts?

Agree... Now that I think about it, my earlier idea would make things get really slow. We may have to just make a sprite for each star and planet. Either way, we do need to enlarge the galaxy.

+1
I'll do that as soon as I get back from school.
How many planets do you want?

I don't think the number of planets matters. Just make a bunch of stars and give each one one to three planets. As for the number of stars, I have no idea. Go for two to four for now, but if you think you can do more, go ahead (Making stars is a bit harder than it sounds). We'll probably want more stars later.
How to make stars- If you add stars, you have to copy and edit part of the gravity scripts in the spaceship. Gravity blocks have enormous equations in them, and there are two for each star- one for scroll-x and one for scroll-y. When you copy a script you must change all 4 (give or take one) sprite drop-down menus to the new star. The drop-down menus are scattered throughout the equations. Do this for both the x and y blocks. If gravity gets messed up, you probably missed something in one of the equations.
Apart from gravity, all you need to do to add stars is copy an existing star sprite, rename it, edit its costume, and change the numbers in the scrolling scripts. Do the same to add planets (But planets don't have gravity, so they're a LOT easier!!!).

OK, will do.

Um, guys, you may want to check out this.
Yes, but do you really think, we should stop working on our actual game, just to get our names back to the frontpage by entering this contest?

I agree. I think we should keep working on Elite.

Hey, don't make it sound like I'm arrogant! I was thinking we could enter this project in collab camp since we already have a head start on it. I never said anything about stopping Elite...

I agree. In case there is a theme involved, we can alter it a bit an produce a different version for camp collab.

Hm. Ok. But only if this theme isn't too different to our current plans.
Would we make two projects then or just the modified one for collab camp?

Sorry guys- I wasn't allowed to tell you in advance.
If we could do a music video which was actually a game, (with animated parts, and then a level based on part of the song), we could be frontpaged again.

I think that would be kind of hard, especially with something like Elite that doesn't really have levels. I have Ideas, but none of them would really be anything like what we're aiming for with Elite.

That is also a good idea. But we cant really start working on it until we get the theme.

Ignore my idea- it's not a good idea. It would be hard to do, and we need to work on finishing Elite.
It's a good idea, but it wouldn't work with Elite.
OK. Let's just work with Elite than.

I HATE it when that happens! My teacher gave me an essay in exam week earlier this month. Anyways, not much is happening right now. See if you can make the stars work. After that... I don't know.
