Sometimes when i post something on a project someone replies to me, but then it doesn't have a "reply" button on the post and so i can't reply to them. Can someone please tell me how to post a comment that can't be replied?

I don't think there is a way to do that.
You can't reply to a reply to a reply if that makes any sense.
Or you could actually be replying but you can't see it. If it has a button that says "Show all replies" click that and see if you can see your reply now.
In other words, if there is a comment by person A, then person B replies to it, then person C replies to person B, you cannot reply to person C.
Hope this helps!

plp26 is right. There's no way to comment above Person C.
The best way to continue the conversation is by replying to the first post with what would have been your reply to the third.
Person A: Derp!
Person B: MERP MERP DERP
Person A: HERP DERP MERP DERP HERP MERP
Person B: Derp Derp!?
Person A: Derp Merp Derp!

Does anyone know we can only comment in 3 layers? It doesn't say in the wiki.

Yes, I'm pretty sure someone knows.

It's not possible, I'm afraid. Your best bet would probably be to do what henley suggested, and just reply to the original comment instead.

It just says
wiki wrote:
Comments can be replied to up to a depth of three layers.
But why not more?

Probably to save space and prevent spamming.
