No, I just log on, and there's no "Welcome to the server", no "zippynk has joined", and when I try to say something, it doesn't appear on the chat.

I don't know. They're not on those times. Next time it happens, I'll try doing it on another computer, though.

Something like that should appear. Or at minimum it should say "[your name] has joined!".
