Isnt it used as a text filler for design pages?
Like when my dad gets designs for fliers at work it says "lorem ipsum dolor" over and over again in place of text.

Once on psdisasters there was a photo of a movie poster that still had Lorem Ipsum as the quote from a reviewer. And it was hanging in a mall or something.
