I would watch it but I have too many premonitions that it would be nothing like the books.

I liked the drunk pirate guy c:
I'll watch it if you confirm that at least in one instance he says "billions and billions of blistering blue barnacles."

I believe he does.

I usually don't like animated movies, but I saw it because of the directer.

I just saw it and IT WAS AWESOME!
Haddock: Nobody takes my ship and gets away with it!
Tintin: They already did.
Haddock: Nobody takes my ship twice and gets away with it!

It was epic. After I saw the movies, I read 3 of the comics

And I don't remember if he says "blistering barnacles," but he does say "thundering typhoons."

He does say "blistering barnacles". Several times. When he gets mad.

So what were your favorite parts?
I liked when Tintin was chasing them on a motorcycle and drove right by them and stole their scrolls and said, "I'll take that, thank you!"
My dad is convinced that Tintin is twelve. In that case, he's twelve and he:
-Lives alone
-Takes care of a dog
-Writes for a newspaper
-Knows that whiskey doesn't put out a fire
-Operates a radio transmitter
-Shoots a gun
-Drives a motorcycle
-Pilots a seaplane
-Faces multiple death threats
-Wears penny loafers
And this doesn't happen in the movie, but in one of the comic books, he accidentaly gets drunk.
