That would be great! I'd love to be able to know if someone replied or posted on my post! I support this idea. But I do agree with CloneCammando1. Replies and actual posts should be seperated.

There was a forum feature where you would get an email when somebody posted on your thread. Unfortunately, it gave the server gas pains or something and it had to be disabled. I would love to see that functionality put back though, maybe using the Scratch message system, as you say

I believe it would be because the server was sending so much data throught the emails, that it couldn't keep up with the Scratch community
. Instead of sending it to the normal Messaging system, it should send it to a secondary one, so your normal messages can keep sorted
. This function would be great for people who like to keep track of threads
! Therefore, I support!
Good idea!
Though andresmh might end up getting headaches when everyone has a million and a half notifications, cause he told us to remove ours because it was slowing down the server.
Just kidding.

Hey. Maybe, it could send updates through email, but you choose how often. You can have it send every half hour, hour, 12 hours, day, week, or month. You can also of course, disable to email feature. What do you guys think 'bout that?

Yes, as paddle2see said, it's a Punbb/fluxbb feature, where you can subscribe to posts, it would be cool if instead of emailing you, it gave you a message.
However, I think it should only send messages when you specifically tell it to notify you.
