Frame grabber?

Does anyone know of any good frame grabbing software that can grab every frame from a video and save them as png or jpeg files?

Either for Mac or Windows.

Re: Frame grabber?

iMovie offers the ability to cut frames.

But Final Cut Pro allows you to cut them and save them, but at a steep price of $299.

Re: Frame grabber?

I'm sure there's better (and cheaper) tools that do it.

Re: Frame grabber?

You can open uncompressed AVIs in GIMP with GAP and save it as a GIF or save each frame separately, although this would probably take a while.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll try that.

Re: Frame grabber?

At first I read this as 'fame grabber' and I thought, "Oh no, not you, too! >_<"
