Why?

why do people just going around the website adding LOADS of users to their friends list and the person doesent even know them???

You can always ask them to "un-friend" you, but seriously, I don't see the problem.  You don't lose anything.

It's annoying because the person just does it to kind of feel self-confident to have friends that they don't even know... I guess it's not THAT annoying.
