SOPA has recieved lots of controversy, and will probably not be passed. But the sneaky government has made ANOTHER bill, this time in the senate, called PIPA, which is the exact same thing. Since all of our protests are focused on SOPA, PIPA might pass.
Do not let this happen!! Protest PIPA also!!

I doubt it's the exact same thing. That would be pointless.

Did you know that PIPA is PROTECT-IP act?
It has been here all this time.
Yeah, it's not new, and since they do the same thing, I think it's pretty much implied.
Also, I think IP is intellectual property, not Internet protocol as in IP addresses.
@redrocker: PIPA is in the senate, SOPA is in the house. They are essentially the same thing.

I realize it's not brand new, but many people don't know that there are two enemies. One is distacting us while the other slips through unscathed. And they are pretty much the same thing, just one is in the house, while one is in the senate.

And PIPA is slightly better

Uh, yeah there is. Both bills are written so that it imeasurable power to the gov and rich citizens who own IPs to be able to quite literally take down any site at their whim.

It is the same. If one doesn't pass, the other will, so PIPA is their backup plan.

They may be similar, but there will be differences, is what I'm saying.

Actually, you didn't spell it right. Overexaggeration is the correct way
