Hey, I'm not sticking up for Explorer. I think it's crud as well and I'd rather use something like GNOME 3, but you can't do that on Windows. Anyway, how long will it be until you make this shell? Of what I've seen of your programs so far, they're either file launchers/deletes, animations, or resource hacks. :I
EDIT: It didn't. You're the one who brought it up.It's still in development. If you're a WindozeNT Software developer, you can get a copy of Shelled Basix DP1 when it gets released and have a look for yourself!
Well, I'm not. And I don't think I ever will.

You're missing out on a lot of stuff. Being a WindozeNT Software developer gives you access to all of the developer previews to all in-development software and stuff. If you want to see how Shelled Basix is going, you'll need to get its DP (not released yet) but to do that you need to be a developer. Why do you think you never will be one?

Uh because I don't really care to learn VB

It's time for the release of Crash Dialog 1.0.5!
This new version of Crash Dialog includes support for auto-loading the program name and main icon. All you need to supply is the EXE/DLL. It also uses a Shell32-based rendering system, eliminating the need for GDI+. Lastly, it improves on the realism of the crash dialog by removing the X button on the title bar (this was made possible via the new rendering engine). Get it now!

I absolutely REFUSE to use MediaFire for a number of reasons; it will never be used by WindozeNT Software. And I don't use Plunder. I use TinyUpload. The Plunder link is just for the VB6 IDE (until I can reupload it).

Fine.
I won't download it.
Mediafire is the ONLY trustworthy file uploader there is.
And it will stay that way.

Pfffft...yeah right. TinyUpload is more trustworthy than anything else I've ever used. If you don't like it then leave.

Oi. If you beg me to, I will download it from TinyUpload or whatever it is.
EDIT: I mean beg by past tense.

OK. If you have any comments on the products or if you have any ideas for future products, you can post them here. In the meantime, I'm going to reinstall WinXP SP3 because the whole entire system went belly-up and just won't boot.
EDIT: I was able to fix my XP thru Recover Console's "BootCfg /Rebuild" command.

ACCORDING ALL WINDOWS VISTA/7 USERS:
Certain programs that attempt to resize themselves with perfect precision (i.e. Maxi Pad or Photo Booth For Windows) WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY with Aero-reliant themes. This is because the new Aero window border causes the VB6 runtimes (or the application itself; whoever processes it first) to return improper values for "Me.Height" and "Me.Width". Because of this, most controls will run off of the window edge. To fix this, change your theme to the Windows Classic theme.

For your silly operating system project, you might want to fork off ReactOS once it's closer to completion, because it's binary compatible with Windows and is free and open source, although not related to Unix/Linux, which you apparently hate for cruddy reasons. Anyway, you might want to take a look. You wouldn't be able to use Visual Basic, but you should be expecting you can't make it in VB anyways.

Excuse me, but this project is anything but silly.

Oh yeah just to let you know SlingDev is over ;_; none of my members did anything other than sign up. Sorry. I'm also a better programmer when i'm on my own.

Of course I do. ReactOS has been going for over a decade and they have only betas.
But do I ever expect that he's actually going to make it? Nope, sorry.

Ok so maybe you do know how long it takes, still calling it a "silly operating system" is like discouraging him from making it. Besides, you never know it may be really good
ProTip: Try not to judge thing before they are even out.

Making an OS is a good project. Go for it.
BTW, I am actually trying to mod ReactOS.
