Computer Specs Redux

There have been several computer specs topics throughout the years on Misc, but there hasn't been in a few months, so here you go.  tongue

My main computer
Model: HP Pavilion dv7t-1000
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 @ 2.4 Ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT
RAM: 4GB PC2-6400
Accessories: Logitech M-505 Wireless Mouse, Creative WP-300 Wireless Headphones

The Music Blasting, Classic-game-playing PC
Model: Homemade PC from 2007, slightly modified since
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 4600+ @ 2.4 Ghz
GPU: AMD Athlon HD 5450 (just bought it today!)
RAM: 4GB DDR2
PSW: Antec 500W
Accessories: Logitech X-540 7.1 Surround System

The "Frankenstein" PC
Model: Heavily modified IBuyPower PC from 2005
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2100+ @ 2.1 Ghz
GPU: S3 Trio64V+ (was ATI Radeon 9600 XT, read on to know why they we swapped)
RAM: 512MB DDR1
PSW: Cheap Chinese 250W(?) that is blowing its guts out (doesn't have enough power for the 9600 XT)

Tell everyone about your main (and maybe only) PC, or your entire armada!  smile

(Oh, and don't just say "a white one".  tongue )

Family member got a new laptop not long ago. RRP was $1200 when released and they got it for just under $400 after tax discounts for a quad core!


Model: Samsung (Series 3) 305V5A-S05AU
CPU: AMD Quad-Core A6-3410MX Accelerated Processor @ 1.6GHz (up to 2.3GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon™ HD6540G2 Dual Graphics
RAM: 4GB DDR3
It has a nice matte like (anti glare) screen with very good viewing angles.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

And I recently bought a new case as well because after I installed my new PSU and GPU there just wasn't enough room in my old case for good air flow, and there was no space for re-routing the cables(HP Pavilion Elite case). The new case is an NZXT Guardian-921
