should I keep my new way of shading?

I am still going to be drawing the same style, but just shading my pictures differently
here is how I used to shade

The arms look kind of like not arms

And the eyes are pretty low on the head, even for an anime character

ah yeah.. I need to practice more on arms ;^^
and feet
also idk why but whenever I put the eyes higher it just looks really awkward to me for some reason ;^^

It's okay to use references

When I draw people I usually sit in front of a mirror. Anime (And other cartoony-things)'s style is a bit disproportions but you can just keep that in mind as you go

You can't ever not have a person to use as a model as long as you have a reflective surface

Feet are weird, yeah. They take practice
