Yesterday I walked up to my bed and tried to right-click it.
I know, that was stupid.
Apparently, it's called 'The Tetris Effect' for some reason.
And also, I went outside in the early morning a few days ago. I looked around like I do in MC to see if there were any zombies/creepers/skeletons/etc.
Discuss stuff like this that has happened to you and my experience.
And also, do you think I play MC too much? I play 2+ hours a day.

I've gotten that
especially in side-scrolling games that keep on scrolling and you have to keep up
I tend to walk sideways

You know, that's kinda funny.

The blocks are constantly moving down
and you're concentrating on them so you can accurately place them

You're kinda overusing that, it's 2 different characters, not amazing.

When you play a video game too much, you try to play it with real life. I guess people loved Tetris way too much (for a good reason though, it's fun) and they started to either avoid aligning things (so they won't disappear) or aligning things. The same thing could probably happen with any game you really like (like if you're addicted to Portal, you start trying to shoot portals to the bathroom in your bedroom, if you're addicted to Pokemon, whenever you confront someone, you think things like "[x] used Comeback! It's extremely effective!" and whenever you hear the word "shiny" you flip out from excitement, etc.).

Yes
After playing Tetris I see everything as moving blocks, falling. I start to see tetrominoes in everything.

I've done that before. For me, it's mainly going into a dark room and then being afraid monsters will spawn around me.

Not necessarily. A good game is still good even if not to the tastes of certain players.
Of course, "good" is somewhat subjective.

That reminds me of "The Screwdriver Story" from the movie Get Lamp. So this guy was driving back from somewhere, and he noticed this shiny object on the side of the road. It was a rusty screwdriver. He pulled over, got out of the car, and grabbed the screwdriver, while saying that he'd been looking for this for a while. His wife, who was in the car, asked him why he picked that up, as they had a screwdriver at home. He replied that he didn't know for sure, and it puzzled him all the way back to his house. Then, when he got to his house, he glanced at his Apple II computer and finally realized that he was looking for the screwdriver in a text adventure game!
No, really, that's a true story. Watch the movie.
