Cough medicine is a medicine commonly used for congestion and cough relief, usually known by the liquid form, the pill form, paste (linctus), and the most annoying of them all, cough drops. These medicines contain expectorants, such as the most commonly used, especially in commercial cough medicines, is guaifenesin. Some countries use Ephedrine. Another kind, Dextromethorphan (DXM), is found to not be effective in children. Before the discovery of these chemicals, honey was used, especially by the Chinese.

I actually wrote all of that.
The only thing copy-pasted were the names of the medicine because I couldn't spell them for nuts.
