You buy one for like 2 bucks and it is a straight red line just like the turrets so that is why I suggest it.

That's the frst thing I'm going after. it has to be able to open up and see the circuit, so I'm going to have it set up so that one of the guns lifts up and you can see the circuit inside.

(the 'guns' will probably be TP tubes, knowing me  )

@cheddargirl: I might be going to Walmart sometime soon so I'll see if I can get some paint and the recorder there.

Turret + tool of science = Portal/Portal 2
Zombies = L4D
Aliens + Tool of awesomeness = Half-Life

Actually, you can probably make it shiny if you use the right paint. Just get one with really high gloss.
