What KIND of music do you like?

I like classical, metal, heavy rock, and rap.
Yes, I know the first one is VERY out of place.

Re: What KIND of music do you like?

Almost all types of rock, most kinds of metal and strangely, quite a few types of folk as well. The reason I say strangely is that it's completely different from the other two  tongue

Actually, a study shown that many metal artists really liked classical due to them both needing loads of skill and being pretty alike, I'm guessing it's the same for the listener too.

That's interesting, but I wouldn't say that folk and classical are similar, so it's still quite odd.

Recommend me some good New Wave artists besides The Talking Heads and David Bowie?

XTC, Devo, Oingo Boingo, to some degree the Cure (but they're more gothy especially on stuff like Faith, Disintegration, and Pornography), the Police, and I guess the Cars are alright but I'm not too into them.

Most of these sound like I would really like them.
However, most of my music exposure has been from the radio, so I find it hard finding new bands and genres.

My mom doesn't like the music I like. She also doesn't think radio music is crud. Except for classical.

So I have to listen to the radio  neutral
