3 beginner questions

I downloaded a couple of games.  I noticed that in the games most sprites have more than one script but I only see 1 tab for Scripts.  How do I find the other scripts?

I also tried adding my own sprite to an existing game and copied an existing script to my sprite.  But when I try to modify the "if touching" block by clicking on the pull down list, my sprite was not listed.  How do I add my sprite so that I can reference it?

In a different game, I saw a statement saying "when I receive step 2".  What does step 2 refer to?

I am an experienced Java programmer but am having trouble getting started with Scratch.  If anyone has a suggestion for a reference guide I would appreciate that was well getting my questions answered.

Thanks.

Re: 3 beginner questions

Well, Scratch only uses one tab for scripts, since you would use two scripts in one page, or more scripts in a single page. And about the if touching block, I have no idea entirely why. About the Step 2, That was what was being broadcasted from another sprite, (In the controls tab, the hat block "When I recieve" and the two blocks above it go together) Also, see the help screens about the blocks, if you need any reference about them  tongue

I'm back.
Maybe.

Re: 3 beginner questions
