I really don't think people will be hosting servers for you...

If they could, wouldn't they just host their own server?

And for a 24/7 server, it's either:
1) leave your computer on all the time which isn't too pleasant.
2) pay.

Yes. They could just host their own server. But that would mean doing a solo project and that is never fun.

Some people can leave their computers on 24/7 without any problems. Like me 
If not then I could always settle for maybe a 2-5 hours a day thing. 24/7 is just so much better

But it's not a solo project because people are on the server...

And a solo project is great sometimes.

I leave my computer on 24/7. But I put it to sleep...
Of course, I'd leave it on 24/7, but then it's way too hard (and wastes tons of energy. using your computer when you're not)

Yes. There are people on the server. But only one person is running it. And it's better with more people running it... like me 

And I put my computer to sleep all the time. But my server still runs. But my computer is very slow and can't handle the server. That's why I'm asking for a host.

You know, it's still one person running it... Your just commanding the other person about what to do... And that's not fun so...

Erm... who said anything about "commanding". And no. It's not one person. One person is a host and one is an admin. A team. They both work on the server together. How do you get one person out of that?

Er... I did that with my own server too. Just cause you're a host doesn't mean you can't have other admins... And you would be commanding us...
