Since I live near Amityville, I'll tell you a law in my state that came from the story of the haunted house: In NY, it is illegal to sell a haunted house without telling the buyer.

And the only strange law I have in my hometown is something not appropriate for these forums.

And I am like pretty sure they don't enforce the Ice Cream in pockets law here.
