Dubs: English voices dubbed onto characters, usually with little success.
Subs: Subtitles. Unless the dub is good, I go with this option.
I'd normally go with the subtitle option, too, but there are just some subs where the translation is just so bad that there are times where you're better off watching the dubbed version even if the voices are somewhat sub par.
Then again, bad subs can be pretty priceless at times. Forget disappearing souls, disappearing cheese is much more serious!.

I use subs when there are dubs, even if it's good and/or already in English.

Soul Eater has a really good dub.
(The subs aren't bad either)

Are there anymore SC fans here?
I believe not.
Look at all of our favorites a second.
Do any of them even remotely resemble SC?
...How old are you again?
And do you follow ratings?
I don't.
I see E and R ratings.
That is all.
And I believe others in this thread think similarly.Watch an episode of SC.
I HAVE.
I dislike it.

Fansubs are normally better.
On the magipoka CD Liru is referred to as Akio, which rather annoyed me.

One Sailor Moon dub is really funny. Someone did it completely wrong. There was this enemy in one season named Kayorinite in the English version, but it must've supposed to have been Kayori in the Japanese version. So, one time, when the bad guy was pretending to be an ordinary person, and the good guy asked her name, the enemy lied, "Kayorinite." And the good guy thought, "Oh, she looks like our enemy but her name is different. It's Kayorinite, not Kayorinite." or something like that. xD It was really funny.

Dubs. The English voices really fit the characters, and as I said before, I'd rather focus on the action than read words on the bottom of the screen.

I use subs whenever I can. I can hardly understand some of the things people say. I rewind many times just to understand what people say.

as another person said, you should probably watch the dubs. I usually am not a huge fan of funimation. But the dubs for this show were perfect, and I couldn't stand how maka said her lines in the Japanese version ;-__-

Naruto is my favorite anime. It probably has one of the deepest storylines I've ever seen in an anime. Bleach and Rurouni Kenshin are my second favorites.

I've read some of the One Piece manga before, I've only watched a little of the show; I thought the anime version wasn't so great in comparison to the manga.
