Renaming of Broadcasts, Variables, Sounds, and Costumes

Sometimes I make a Broadcasts, or Variables and want to rename it. Currently the only way is to this is go through the project's scripts and manually change it. For Sounds, and Costumes I am aware that these can be renamed, but when they are you must manually go through and update the scripts to match the new name. I hope that the rename feature is implemented in Scratch 2.0. Please vote for this idea on the Scratch Suggestions website. Reply saying you support to add your name to the list below.

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

the thing is, there is no equivelent of this in other programming langauges, and the point of scratchy is to make it easy to learn other programing langauges.

In text based programming languages there is Find and Replace, which allows you to rename things.

Come on, try Broadcastic OS 2.0. It has 3 editions for businesses, media, and home. Also, there's Broadcastic OS Metro Edition Release Candidate.
