Once in elementary I used alt codes to make ♥ while typing a mothers' day poem.
Everyone went crazy and asked me how I did it.
I told them and then everyone started doing it.
I don't recall being annoyed thoughAhh... That reminds me of another one. Fonts. Font names spread quickly, especially the handwriting ones.
Ugh, the fonts one annoys me probably the most out of all of them. I remember one girl had actually written her entire essay in French Script MZ and it was near impossible to read, and this other girl (and she was pretty smart, too) had written her headers in Bradley Hand ITC. It makes me wonder how they could have thought that was ever a good idea.

It's not like you got into the OS and programmed it into the schools computers -_-

such is the memonic theory
which combined with Murphy's Law..

oh my gosh, it's so annoying when that happens! At school, we have Dell computers, and if you have a dell keyboard (which they do) if you press the microsoft symbol key (you would know what I'm taking about if you have a dell computer) then it brings up a menu. Which may not sound that bad, but the person who sits next to me in computer lab does it to me all the time and it gets pretty annoying.

You're probably asking "What does that mean?", so I'll give an example.
A few years ago, in my school (they used Mac computers), I realized that if you type Command-Option-Control-8, the screen got inverted. Then, since I never told anyone, somebody must have realized it by themselves too, so they have some credit. But then, the idea spread rapidly. Soon, everyone was using it with the computers, and I got annoyed with it quickly.
Has this ever happened to you? Are you annoyed with it? Discuss.
I love that!

Yeah, I know. It's cool when it's not overused.

I know exactly what you mean.
Main computer-person at my school. I fix all the wireless issues.
Most common issue. Ever.
Oh, and I add new printers too (the Find Printer dialog).

I don't get annoyed, but one time I accidentally activated Sticky Keys during Tech. class. Soon, the whole room burst into this annoying pop-up message. It was kinda funny.
I LOVE doing that!
