Should I Jailbrake my iPod? I thought about Jailbreaking it before, but then my iPod screen broke.

I used to want to jailbreak it too, but as soon as you do, you lose the warranty. It's also known to permanently crash some iPods, which I why I never jailbreaked mine. It's your decision though.

I mean like, 2% chance or something. I don't know for sure, that's just a total guess. Which means that even though it would be unlucky if it happened to you, you can't really complain about having the worst luck in the world either. After all, if that's true, 1 in every 50 jailbreakers will end up with a broken iPod. That may not seem like a lot, but if you put it into perspective, it is.

So, I shouldn't? Or I should?

I think you should, but that's just me. You could ask on this site: http://ihackerpro.com/forum/index.php It's about all sorts of computer related things, but mainly to do with Apple.

Because you get lots of free stuff.

Well, you can get stuff not designed for Apple products, and you get free apps/music.

jailbreaking an iPod does not mean literally breaking it
remember that now

Honestly, isn't jailbreaking stealing? I aspire to make profiting games of some sort when I grow up and I wouldn't want to be stolen from.

Er, no. You can do a lot more with a jailbreak than just pirate apps, silly! Custom themes, tweaks, added functionality via downloadable MobileSubstrate addons, etc. ^_^
Also, the odds of bricking are very low as long as you do your research first. I'd say it's plenty worth it.

You only thought about it and it broke?
Maan, that's crazy

That would mean you would be robbing.
How would you like if you worked hard on a bunch of iPhone games and need to get a living off of it and people jailbreak their iPods and get them for free? Do you think that's fair? If the entire world was like this, do you think anyone would make any money?

Actually, it is stealing in this case. I know what jailbreaking does, and when a scratcher asked alldaykade28471 earlier why he wnted to jailbreak his iPod, he said because he wanted to get free games. So in this case, it is stealing.
Don't turn to the dark side alldaykade28471! Don't do it because it's not worth it!
