Well, I found the problem. When you press space at any time, it broadcasts the signal to start the game. So the sprite with the story panels puts up the panel that you see in the beginning of the game. What is spacebar supposed to do, though? I know what the problem is, but I don't know how to fix it. This is the point at which I begin to wish that the broadcasts and variables had names a little bit more informative. Oh, well. And then motion: I see you've already hired someone to do that. Do you still want me to take a shot? Like I said, I think I know how to make it work. And on the intro: I think the reason it seems empty is because it's missing sounds.
I noticed that too! I think I know how to fix it: get rid of it. I mean, how many times do we use spacebar in the game (not counting the intro).
By the way, I jumped from 0.2.4 to 0.3.0 when I updated the intro. I can rename everything if you want.
GUYS: 0.3.1 is now 0.2.6 and 0.3.0 is now 0.2.5 I'm putting 0's in front of everything because nothing is ready to be released (it's all beta, not stable).
And just so there's no confusion, we are currently at (0).2.7. Sorry for the confusion Dasbloekendeschaf and Thrystor and everyone else keeping up with this.
We'll have to edit this in the project history (comments at the stage).

Blob, you're on the front-page again!!!! (Your Blender Tutorial)
I know! It's quite exciting
Although it's quite old now; shame really...
And what do you mean "again"...?Oh, I thought as old as it was, and as many views as it got, I thought it was already on the front page.
I'd have thought the same, too; but I've never been on the front page before, as far as I'm aware.

Attention: i have uploaded the first six starship coustumes on dropbox Teamearth>coustumes and sprites> Starship coustumes. In there are 6 coustumes and a project with them in a space background. ☺

Thanks. I like them. I moved the scratch project to the "Drafts And Game Fragments" folder. It'll be implemented when we work on the enemy ships (not very soon).
You sure can make more if you want, but I think about 10 enemies will be enough.

Oh guys, sorry. I forgot to upload 0.3.2 (now 0.2.7). I'll do it now.
Thrystor, update the spaceship if you know how.
OK. I'll do that.

It's done. I'll upload it to Dropbox. But there was a major problem with gravity, and I had to make the spaceship really slow to fix it. Does anyone know how to make a sprite point at another sprite without using the "point towards" block? If I knew how to do that I could fix it.

You work out the difference between the current sprite's x and y positions and the x and y positions of the sprite you want to point at (using the "x position of <sprite>" block).
Then divide y / x and perform either atan or atan2 on the result (I can't remember precisely without Scratch in front of me
) -- that should give you the angle to the sprite, which I think is what you're asking.
Hope that helps

Docking? Whatever you mean, we are still developting the flying engine. No docking is done yet. And to be honest, it might be long until we implement shop or planet docking.

I apologize on what i typed here one day. I was angry at my relatives in India I really feel sorry. I was really angry and i needed to take it out somewhere. Its really not like me to type something that is mean since i am actually just a kid. I have never actually got in trouble in school but i just had to let out my anger. Once again i apologize about it and i randomly typed in my thoughts into something i had no buisness in. I sincerely apologize.

OK. I will work on the flying engine then.

Hm. Yes. There might be a problem, because before I asked you to make it, I asked Thrystor. I didn't get a response, so I continued asking around, until you came saying you'd like to do it. But after that (you seemed a bit inactive), Thrystor came and programmed it (includet in the new draft). I feel very sorry for you, but this job is already done (still glitchy, but basicly done). It was a misunderstanding. Maybe you want to help with the next things (it's still a lot of work to do and good programmers are always needed)?

Yes. Sorry about the inactivity ^_^
What are the next things? Can you tell me so I can start working on them?

First of all we have to wait until the engine got fixed. So until then nothing. The best thing is to take a look at this forum at least once in two days and offer your help when the next things have to be worked on.

THANK YOU!!! Now I can fix this thing...
Something didn't work. Is atan2 atan squared or atan*2?
And when you say y/x, do you mean the differences divided?
I tried a few combinations, and none of them seem to work.
Wait, I got it using a different method, but it's the most ridiculously long equation I've ever put into scratch, and I don't know what half of it does. I'll use this for now. Could you try to simplify it later though? It'll be fairly obvious which spaceship scripts to replace.
YES! IT WORKS!!! Uploading as DRAFT 2.9.

Thanks. Now it works perfectly. I also improved some things. V: 2.10
