Or do you mean that they forced you to use the one on gmail?

That's just Google Canada.

If you type in google.com or google.us with a Canadian IP address, you'll be linked to google Canada. This links US people to Google Canada. Click here and watch it link you to the "normal" version.
Could someone upload the US logo for me?
