Except you can change edge to sprites.

Yes that would be very VERY useful because allot of other programming languages have that, at the moment what you can do is manually program it:
<when green flag clicked>
<forever>
<if><touching[ imaginary sprite )>
<change x by( 50 )>
<change y by( 50 )>
<end>
